Thank you for your question, "Can a catholic find meaning at this site?" A Catholic or any other Christian can find meaning in this site. Denominations are man-made. God doesn't divide along the lines of denominations. According the the polling of George Barna, every organization that calls itself part of the church universal has Christians within that organization. Some organizations have a greater percentage of Christians than others. The percentage of Christians in every organization is surprisingly low. They may all say that they are a Christian, but the way they answer questions on a scientific poll indicates that too many people don't know what it is to be a Christian. That's what this site is all about. You can find meaning here. An Atheist can find meaning here if he or she will follow what this site says. They can do the same thing using the Bible, by the way, but it might be harder for them to understand. God does not change His purpose for us because of our affiliation with an organization. If a Catholic listens to God's voice, and God speaks to every person, then he or she will find that God gives gentle direction. His purpose in your life is to bring you to the likeness of Jesus Christ. I have met Catholics who are listening to God and I have met some who want to keep themselves a fair distance from God. (some caveats about hearing God's Voice) Is any organization somehow exalted above any other? No. Some of the leaders of organizations do at times twist the Word of God, the Bible. Some leaders don't even regard God's word but would rather follow the human mind, which is deceitful and desperately wicked. At the same time, if any Catholic is seeking God, that Catholic will find God. God will reveal Himself to them. The Bible will begin to make sense and come alive to them. They will be able to discern if someone is twisting Scripture or not regarding God's Word. God will lead them in His paths and give them power to walk in those paths. Their life will be fulfilled as they submit to God's love and God's nature. All of this would hold true for any other Christian as well. The author of this note came out of a huge denomination by the leading of God. That organization is not evil. However, God is always calling everyone to higher heights and deeper depths in Him. Sometimes, organizations can hinder that growth.
