We are saved to good works. Works are always the work of grace and grace, if it is grace, always does good works. But we cannot possibly be saved by trying to generate good works on our own. If fact, such works are simply filthy rags in God's sight. How many are struggling and trying so hard. Some try to find satisfaction without walking into completeness in Jesus. Some try to please God with self-generated "righteousness" and by fulfilling laws, rules, rituals, and religiosity. But the way is simple. Come to Jesus. He is real and you will find Him. You have a will. Satan cannot make you do anything and God will not make you do anything. When you will to do His will, He speaks His hope into you and His faith comes, which, in turn, allows His grace to flow through you and think His thoughts, say His words, and do His works of love. The seeds planted by this sequence are the seeds of holiness and freedom from the sinful nature. Let them grow.
