God moves in the small every-day things. He leads His dear children along in His scriptural patterns for the family and the local church and the church universal. He leads in words that build up, encourage, and comfort, speaking the truth in love. He leads in His people taking simple responsibility, fulfilling duties, and keeping promises. He leads in the daily family alter, the weekly assembly of the saints, and the traveling of the camps. All of these and more are living works because it is the Spirit who leads into them and grace that performs the works. Our part is to submit our spirits, minds, and bodies to His love and let Him move. The trouble that some people have with Jesus is that accepting His love and forgiveness and eternal life is also a commitment to accepting His lordship over every aspect of their lives. They may want the benefits, but they don't want to walk in His righteousness.
